HIDDEN BLISS + NOBRO | L’ANTI | 18.01.2024

Premier show de l’année 2024 avec une gang de femmes pleines d’énergie et de bonne humeur contagieuses, soit HIDDEN BLISS et NOBRO, pour la tournée « Party Through The Pain », à L’Anti. Comme une toune punk d’une minute, voici mon topo.

Entre autres moments marquants de la soirée : du côté de HIDDEN BLISS, Ariane (voix) qui a dû prendre la relève à la basse et apprendre toutes les partitions en un mois, et une reprise de Billy Talent; du côté de NOBRO, Kathryn (voix et basse) qui se paie le parterre pour chanter et faire du bodysurf, Lisandre (claviers) qui prend possession de la batterie de Sarah et Sarah qui prend le devant de la scène pour jouer de la basse.

Gros avantage de présenter que deux groupes pour un soir : ils peuvent jouer plus longtemps et plus de tounes! Enfin, ai-je besoin de préciser que la salle était pleine? Un succès sur toute la ligne!

First show of 2024 with a pack of women full of contagious energy and good mood, HIDDEN BLISS and NOBRO, for the « Party Through The Pain » tour at L’Anti. True to the form of a one-minute punk song, here’s my rundown.

Among the evening’s highlights: with HIDDEN BLISS, Ariane (vocals), had to take over on bass and learn all the parts in a month, and a Billy Talent cover; with NOBRO, Kathryn (vocals and bass), took over the floor to sing and bodysurf, Lisandre (keyboards) took over Sarah’s drums, and Sarah took center stage to play bass.

One big plus of having only two bands for one night is that they can play longer and play more songs! Finally, need I say that the venue was packed? Definitely a great success!
