Il y a quelques semaines, je me suis faite ramasser par une vague. Le genre de vague si lourde mais tellement énergisante et authentique. Je vous parle de la chanson Lost in a wave du groupe LANDMVARKS. Dans l’ouragan des sorties d’albums depuis le début de 2021, je suis en train de me noyer dans les mélodies (je ne suis pas en train de me plaindre !) mais pour capter mon attention, la musique doit venir me toucher à la bonne place.
Et ces hommes de Marseille ont réussi exactement ça. Alors, j’attendais avec beaucoup d’intérêts la venue de leur troisième album aussi appelé Lost In A Wave. Ah, que je me suis régalée ! Je me suis laissé emporter par ce tourbillon agressif bien thérapeutique. LANDMVARKS amène littéralement les auditeurs sur vague avec un métalcore lourd (Lost In A Wave), infusé de hardcore (Overrated) avec quelques gouttes deathcore (Say no Word) et sans oublier les vocales fluides en style et en langue (Visage). Tout est solidement tenu à flot par des mélodies stimulantes qui aide à relever la lourdeur du fond. Ils nous laissent sur la rive avec une (pseudo) ballade touchante appelée Paralyzed. Je vous recommande de la visionner sans attendre sur votre plateforme vidéo préférée (voir lien plus bas).

A few weeks ago, I felt a crushing wave taking over me. The kind that is so heavy yet still so energizing and genuine. I am talking about Lost In A Wave by LANDMVARKS. In the hurricane of album releases since the beginning of 2021, I am getting drowned in melody (not complaining here!) but to be able to caught my attention, music has to hit me in the right place.
What these men from Marseille did exactly. So I was, curiously waiting for their third album to come out also called Lost In A Wave. Boy, I was in for a treat! I was literally swept away by this therapeutic aggressive storm. LANDMVARKS are literally taken the listeners on a wave with heavy metalcore (Lost In A Wave), infused in hardcore (Overrated) and a few drops of deathcore (Say No Word) and lets not forget about the fluent vocals in style and language (Visage). All solidly afloat by uplifting melody that helps lift the heaviness from the bottom. Leaving us to the shoreline with a moving (pseudo) ballad ‘Paralyzed’ that I highly recommend viewing on your preferred video site.(link below)
